Real Client Results at SOI Clinic: Before & After Stories
A before-and-after should be evidence, not theatre. We walk through real SOI result categories—and show you what to inspect before deciding whether a photo is meaningful.
Before-and-after photos are the most persuasive content in aesthetics—and the easiest to misuse.
A change in lighting can sharpen a jawline. A different head angle can hide an eyebag. Flexing can manufacture an abdominal “result.” Even freshly moisturized skin looks dramatically better under a ring light.
So this is not a parade of miracles. It is a guide to reading real SOI result categories with a clear eye: what changed, what the treatment is meant to do, and what to ask before assuming the same plan is right for you.
Result story 1: tightening and collagen

Collagen-led treatments are about gradual support, not changing the identity of a face. Inspect the firmness of the lower face, texture, and how light reflects from the skin—not whether the person suddenly looks like someone else.
Plans may combine hydration and collagen support with energy-based firming. If skin mainly looks tired or dehydrated, a Collagen Lifting Facial may be enough. If laxity is more prominent, a lifting treatment may be discussed.
Ask: How long after treatment was the photo taken? Was this one session or a course? Was the same lighting used?
Result story 2: non-surgical facial lifting

Non-surgical lifting is usually judged around the jawline, cheeks, and facial balance. The realistic outcome is a fresher, firmer version of the same face.
A machine cannot reproduce a surgical facelift, and collagen remodeling takes time. Options such as 12D HIFU, LuxeWave, and radiofrequency work differently and suit different levels of laxity. See LuxeWave vs HIFU for a practical comparison.
Ask: Is the person holding the same expression? Was weight stable? When in the collagen-building timeline was the after photographed?
Result story 3: acne treatment

Acne results need context. Active breakouts, oiliness, inflammation, post-acne marks, and scars are separate problems. A treatment that calms active acne may not erase older textural scarring.
SOI’s Anti-Acne Treatment uses a gentle, course-based approach. Home care matters too: aggressive scrubbing and too many actives can keep the barrier inflamed. Read the real causes of adult acne if breakouts started or changed in adulthood.
Ask: Were prescriptions or home-care products used alongside clinic sessions? Is the visible improvement active acne, marks, or both?
Result story 4: pigmentation and carbon laser

Pigmentation photography is extremely sensitive to exposure and white balance. A trustworthy comparison keeps overall skin tone consistent while showing changes in specific spots.
Carbon Laser can support brighter tone, clearer pores, and smoother texture. Melasma is more complicated: it is reactive to heat, sun, and hormones and often needs long-term management rather than one-time “removal.”
Ask: Was the diagnosis melasma, sun damage, or post-acne pigmentation? What sunscreen and maintenance plan followed?
Result story 5: hair regrowth

Hair progress is better judged over months, with the same parting, length, wetness, and overhead light.
Laser Hair Regrowth aims to stimulate follicles and support thicker-looking growth over a course. It cannot revive every inactive follicle, and sudden or severe shedding may need medical investigation.
Ask: How many months separate the images? Was the same styling used? Were supplements or medications part of the plan?
Result story 6: body contouring

Body photos are especially vulnerable to posing. Look at landmarks such as the navel, waistline, and hip position. The client should stand at a similar distance with the abdomen relaxed in both images.
Ab-Toning targets muscle definition. RF focuses on reducing localized fat and firming tissue and skin. Our slimming treatment comparison explains the differences without pretending a machine replaces nutrition or movement.
Ask: Was the client flexing? Did body weight change? Which part came from fat reduction, skin tightening, or muscle tone?
The five-question photo test
- Is it the same person, angle, distance, and expression?
- Is the lighting and camera exposure comparable?
- How much time and how many sessions separate the images?
- What else changed—home care, medication, weight, or another treatment?
- Is this a typical result, or the clinic’s single best case?
The more dramatic the claim, the more specific the answers should be.
Our honest verdict
Good before-and-afters help set expectations; bad ones manufacture them. Use photos to understand the kind of improvement a treatment can create, then decide based on an assessment, timeline, and the full cost of the plan.
Build your own realistic plan
Your starting point will not be identical to anyone in a gallery, and your plan should not be copied from one photograph. At SOI Clinic, we assess the concern, explain what is realistic, and document progress over time.
